It's 2009 so new year a new start

As we are now 4 days into 2009 it's hard to tell if its going to be a good year or not.
Dom is back to school tomorrow and I'm back to uni on Wednesday.

So whats been going on here lately?
Well Christmas was a nice quite one with just the two of us on Christmas day. Boxing day Dom went to the panto with my sister and then afterwards we went to her in-laws.
New year we went to a friends for the evening and had a great time.

We are sat in a cold house at the moment because my boiler was condemned on new years eve and we just have to wait for a new one to be fitted which hopefully won't be to long.
So at the moment I'm wearing lots of layers wrapped in a blanket and I'm also wearing fingerless gloves coz my hands are cold and i want to be able to use the laptop. Anyway that being said it's not as bad as it could be but cold enough so i can't do certain things but i won't go into that.

As its the start of a new year that means New Year Resolutions and i have made a couple this year. Nothing big but still something i want and they are

Do everything i can to get onto degree
Cook from scratch more often
Blog at least once a week

A year ago Today

My mum lost her 3 year battle with Cancer

I think about her all the time and miss her. I can't believe that its been a year already.

Not sure what we are doing today but i will be seeing my brother and sister-in-law and then maybe going to the cemetery.
