Silly cat

This my lovely little girl Zoysha. I took these photos today when she was on my bed. This first one she just lay down and hid her eyes under the edge of the blanket, I wanted to get a photo of her whole face and moved the blanket down and she hit me. So she chose to hide completely, if you look very closely you can see a tiny bit of her paw.

Ds has been out today to play with his friends and seemed to enjoy himself.

I'm going to watch BB shortly and see who's up for eviction on Friday.

The weekend is over

Another weekend is over and it's just about Tuesday. This week is Half term so will have to do a few things with him.

Well what's been going on since I last wrote. I've spent a few days doing some housework that needed to be done. On Saturday I went to a crop that is run by the wonderful Dave and Katie owners of Cre8tive Online. The day was brilliant even thou I didn't get much done. I did the morning class that was TEXTURE and then spent the rest of the day doing that. There were a great group of women that I spent alot of time with and we laughed alot. Thanks girls.
Saturday also brings a new Effing Dare and this weeks is "10 things". This is my go at it.

I used the texture ideas from the crop on Saturday.

While I was at the crop Dom spent the day with his step-granny and Uncle. My baby brother who is 12, so there is only a 5 year gap between them. He had a good time so I'm happy. When he got home we curled up and watched Dr Who together. We both love this even thou he finds it scary in parts, but then again haven't we all been scared of this at some point in our lives.

I'm getting hooked on Big Brother this year as it's far more interesting than last years was. I think it's more the fact that the housemates are more watchable. After watching the live show tonight when they won two new housemates I can't wait to see what happens. What are people going to think of Sam? He's a he but dresses and acts like a she but is a gay man. I think I'm confused.

Results

I had a call from the consultant this afternoon and all the tests have come back normal. So I don't know what to do next. The main problem that we went with was the fact that it was hurting when he went to the toilet. It turns out that his foreskin is very tight and may need to be circumcised. He has been referred to the surgeons and we just have to wait for the appointment to come through. Hopefully it won't be too long. Fingers crossed that it gets sorted before September.

Rubber stamp

Today I went up to my mums to help her sort out some stuff and got this stamp. I just love this and am going to use it on some ATC's that I have to do.

This morning DS wasn't feeling well but I sent him to school anyway. He can be ill next week when it's half term.

I had to phone the hospital today to see when I'll get his results for the tests that were done two weeks ago. I was told that it could be at least another couple of weeks. This waiting is driving me mad but I've done all I can for now. Hopefully I'll get them sooner rather than later.

Tonight there is a couple of good programmes on that I'm planning on watching. Holby City, Lost, Medium and Big brother. I told you I'm a TV junkie.

Learning to swim

Dom has his swimming lesson on a Monday and he's doing really well. He got the lessons for his birthday from his Aunt and Uncle. In today's lesson they were learning to swim on their backs. Each child had what looks like a foam tube (but no hole) to help them to float on their backs. At the end of each lesson they take turns in jumping in from the side. For the first time he did it by himself. When in the water he had to go through a hoop under water, he did do it with little fuss. These lessons are going really well and finish on the 17th July. I'm going to try and continue them after that as he is enjoying it so much.

I didn't get up to much today apart for registering with a new GP as the last practice was useless. They are friendly here so fingers crossed it will work out.

Invasion

Wow what an ending. I can't believe it's over already. Do i watch it again next week?
There is so many good programmes on at the moment that it's difficult to keep up with it all.
I have to admit that i'm a TV junkie. I can't get enough of it. I can nearly always find something on to watch. I have to get my daily fix.

Scrapping

I love scraping and through it i have met some wonderful people IRL and online.
On one of the forums that i'm a member of there are Effing Dares each week. There have been 3 so far but i've only done two, which are the following. The first one is this weeks, It needs something but still working out what.

This is for the first weeks dare. (Not a good photo)
I'm really looking forward to doing next weeks. So far these are fitting in with my BOM.

Next month i plan to start an Art Journal, but as i'm still not sure about how to do one it may have to wait a little longer.

I've done it

Well this is the first post of my blog. I hope that all goes well with this.

Why "Taking it as it comes". Well thats the way we live. The main reason being that as i have Ulerative Colitis and have flare ups every now and then. I just get on with the good days. There is also the fact that two years ago my mum was diagnosed with Renal Cancer and secondarys in her lungs. We all know that this is going to get much worse we just don't know when. But at the moment she's fine.

Anyway sit back have a cuppa and you can all laugh at my spelling.
