Today is the anniversary of her death. After being ill with Cancer for about six months she finally sliped into a coma and never came out of it. She was my big sister and was just 16 when she died. its strange to think that she has been dead longer than she lived. There were times when we were very close and had some really good times. I also remember the amount of fights that we had. I do miss her lots but she was a bossy cow and would be mean to me at times. Shes my sister and i still say that.
I just wonder what she'd be doing now if she was still here.

Well i'm bored

I haven't been able to get onto my favourite forum for days now and its really getting me down. I miss all the girls and the chat. The Pad has become my home. I know that the reason i can't get on is down to server error. Tiscili is not recognising the server as its a new company. I didn't think this should affect me as I'm not with Tiscili and all the people that are are locked out. My Internet provider is Pipex homecall and they rent lines from Tiscili and BT so its just my luck i don't have the BT. We've been locked out for nearly a week and no idea when it will end. Thank god i change providers on the 31st so I'll be able to get in then. So at the most i only have 3 or 4 more days to endure it. Fingers crossed it comes back before then.

The good thing is that i have my forum and getting to know lots of new people and chatting with old friends.

The other night i saw the new Take That Video for their new single SHINE and its brill. I'm not a big music person but i love this and will happily listen to it over and over again. Here is the Video

This weekend i think i may do some crafting as i have a few ideas going round in my head and i want to get them down. I have some ATCs to do and a minibook to design. The Minibook is taking shape but i have a month till the crop when I'll be teaching it. I just hope it will be completely different from anything anyone has seen and done before. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I will be putting a kit together for this and i will be making sure i have extra so i can sell them or have them for prizes for a Competition on NPLH. You will have to watch this space for further details if you can't make it to the crop

My Craft Room

Today i was having a chat with my mum and i have come to a huge decision.
Which is I'm getting rid of my craft room yes you heard me right my little craft room is going.
Before you ask I'm not giving up scrapping or my Altered Art. In fact I'm getting more into the altering than ever.
At the moment the little bedroom is my craft room but i don't use it as i fined it so lonely in there so i always work in my bedroom with the TV on. So the question is "Is it worth having a craft room at all?" and to that my answer is NO.
So whats the plan i hear you ask. Well I'm turning it into a dressing room, I'm moving all the clothes out of bedroom into there. It will house all my clothes, wardrobe, chest of draws, iron, ironing board the whole lot. None of this will go in the bedroom.
So what am i doing with my craft stuff?
Well that is all being moved into my bedroom. I have plenty of space and it makes sense as its where i spend my time. I can sort it and get a nice desk to work at and lots of storage.

This is such a good idea and i wish i had thought of it earlier. I know it will work out so much better for me.

At last

NPLH is finally taking off and I'm so pleased. I've been working really hard on it for a while and now its paying off. I have so many plans for it and now I'm looking forward to putting them in place. If it really takes off I'm going to have to recruit some help but it maybe a while for that to happen.

I have to confess

Well that's what Shimelle is telling us with her free class that shes doing next weekend. I'm thinking of having a go at it and if i do I'll post about it here.


I'm not a happy bunny coz i don't feel very well. I've been sick a few times and I've got a headache. Its not too bad at the moment (fingers crossed and all that). Hopefully its just a bug. I woke up a while ago and can't get back to sleep so i thought I'd surf.

I did just mange to watch the final of Soapstar Superstar and Antony Cotton (who plays Sean Tully in corrie) won. I was a little surprised it was him but he had improved so much over the week and hes a showman. So congratulations Antony.

Well

It's coming together, the first crop that I'm organizing that is. People are interested and the hall is booked. I have so many ideas of what i want it to be like now i just have to do it.
I'm going to be teaching a mini book class so i had better get to designing one. There are so many books out there I'll have to make sure it isn't like any others that I've seen. Well I'll do my best so wish me luck.
I can see me boring you to death with this before it even happens.
